Saw this fan online at Home Depot and seems to be a nice fan. i ordered one and have not received it yet. HD shows the price $161.25 and has all the bell and whistles in this fan.

If you can't use 2 switches (seperate fan and light) then this is a no go for me. Finding and using a remote for a kids room would be a daily nightmare. Also, it sounds like the light resets to a default setting every time so you have to adjust it up or down every time. This is probably a cheaper fan than $160 from one of those pop up brands marketing a DC motor, which isn't some revolutionary feat in and of itself...

Appreciate the review but genuinely asking (because I'm considering it), this one says it is 52" and Model # 29006-WH … I don't think you have the exact same one?
