Amazon is getting better at locking down their ecosystem.
We're not getting Amazon tablets anymore. Will switch to either Samsung, Lenovo, or Walmart.
this Amazon tablet has Widevine L1 which means 1080p streaming.

Personally If you can spare a bit more of time, money or effort,
you can start hunting for deals like the Onn 11 pro. Which comes up to $159
but It won't be for long until that goes on sale for $130.
Bright side of the onn 11 pro (comparable to the fire max 11) would be
the official google play store. You don't have to use firetool box which would
cause complication for when you do decide to use certain amazon web/app service like the google play kindle.
Since you have to disbablle 100% of the amazon bloat of the amazon devices. To make the device run
like a complete google android device, going through all those hoops along with the lack of official updates/versions etc is tiring.
Edit: In terms of performance the onn 11 pro beats the firemax since it is running official native android OS. whereas all the amazon tablet run a specifically modified android OS.
One thing I have to give amazon though is that their screens are much better than any of the onn brand tablets. But that's only something you have to be concerned about if watching youtube/netflix/ etc is the only thing you'll be doing.
Toolbox is worth the hassle as long as you remember to read the instructions prior to turning on your fire for the first time
What model do you recommend?

Thank You, appreciate your help.
1. SUPER CHEAP PRICE... Lincplus T3. There may be a problem playing games in portrait mode. Will update this tomorrow. 10.36" No updates. $90ish
2. For more money there is the IPLAY 50 MINI PRO NFE. Have gotten many updates. And has flip to wake (vs just pressing the power button). 8.8" $140ish
Both tablets have FULL HD screens, 8GB or RAM, 128 Hard drive (or 256 if you want to pay the extra money for the iplay) and a G99 CPU/GPU.
Both tablets have zero bloatware and run Android 13.
